As a second-generation travel professional, I’m proud to continue the Hastwell family legacy of creating seamless, memorable journeys for our clients. After completing my Bachelor of Management (Marketing) at the University of South Australia, I joined Hastwell Travel & Cruise more than two decades ago – and I truly couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

Having travelled to 68 countries across every continent except Antarctica (one day!), I bring a wealth of first-hand knowledge to my clients. From the luxury lodges of Africa to small ship cruises through Europe, and from tailor-made US itineraries to small group tours across South America and Asia, I’m passionate about designing travel experiences that are as unique as the people taking them.

I opened the doors of Hastwell Travel & Cruise back in 1992, inspired by my love of travel and a desire to share that passion with others. What began as a small venture has grown into a well-respected, highly experienced travel agency built on the philosophy of providing exceptional service delivered by knowledgeable, dedicated staff.

I’ve travelled extensively throughout the world – and I still do! Each year, I escort a small group of like-minded travellers to explore new destinations together. Some of my favourite journeys have taken me to Cuba, Eastern Europe, South Africa, Israel and South America.

My love of food and wine often guides my travels, drawing me to regions like Napa Valley, Stellenbosch, and the great wine-growing areas of France – always in search of something new and exciting to discover.

My mum always pictured me as an air hostess – travelling the world, making friends across the globe, and eventually marrying the pilot! But as it turns out, I’m far better suited to the planning side of travel, and life as a travel agent has been the perfect fit.

I began my career in 1994 managing domestic corporate accounts, and over the years I’ve arranged just about every type of holiday imaginable – from quick interstate getaways to epic six-week European and African surfing safaris.

Event-based travel is where I truly thrive. I’ve had the pleasure of helping clients plan destination weddings (including my own), milestone birthdays and family reunions, ensuring every detail runs smoothly and each celebration is unforgettable.

With every itinerary, my goal is to make travel planning feel effortless and enjoyable – creating experiences that inspire, connect and stay with my clients long after they return home.

I was 18 years old when I applied for my first passport, and I remember promising myself that I’d fill it with stamps – and that’s exactly what I did! After an incredible first adventure through the USA and a cruise that sparked my wanderlust, I knew that travel would always be a big part of my life.

A two-year working holiday in the UK and Europe cemented that passion, and it wasn’t long before I realised that helping others experience the joy of travel was what I wanted to do. Now, nearly three decades later, I still love creating personalised, once-in-a-lifetime journeys for my clients, drawing on my own experiences to make each trip special.

Every destination has left its mark, but my travels through South America, Egypt, Israel and Turkey will always hold a special place in my heart. Sharing the world with my two daughters has become my greatest joy, and we’re soon off on a two-week adventure through Vietnam – another chance to make lifelong memories together.

After nearly thirty years in the industry, my greatest reward is knowing that I’ve helped others see the world in a way that inspires them – because travel isn’t just about where you go, it’s about how it makes you feel.

I was introduced to cruising at an early age with a round-the-world voyage, and that’s when my love of travel truly began. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to explore so many incredible destinations, from hosting small group tours and creating custom itineraries in New Zealand, Norfolk Island, Canada and Alaska, to the majestic landscapes of Norway and Iceland, the charm of France and Japan and the tropical beauty of the South Pacific islands.

I love helping my clients create unforgettable experiences, whether it’s a personalised tour, a luxury cruise or a multi-destination adventure – trips that leave lasting memories and bring the joy of travel to life. For me, cruising is the perfect way to unpack once and wake up somewhere new each day, blending relaxation with discovery.

I joined the travel industry straight out of school – long before the days of computers and online bookings – and I’ve loved every minute of watching the world, and the way we travel, evolve. Over the years, I’ve seen countries change names, borders shift and technology transform the way we plan our journeys. But one thing has never changed: my unwavering love of travel.

Having explored many corners of the globe, I draw on my own experiences to craft seamless, perfectly balanced itineraries for my clients. I take great pride in attention to detail and a genuine desire to ensure every journey is as memorable as it is effortless.

Designing and hosting small group tours is one of the most rewarding parts of my career – bringing people together through shared discovery and unforgettable experiences. After many years in this wonderful industry, I still feel so fortunate to help others see the world and live out their travel dreams.
